Enintään 25 km/h ja 1000 W tieliikenteessä
Kevyenä sähköajoneuvona luokiteltu sähköpotkulauta saa kulkea rakenteellisesti enintään 25 km/h ja sen moottoriteho saa olla enintään 1 kW (1000 W). Jos kumpikaan raja ylittyy, laitetta ei saa käyttää yleisessä tieliikenteessä — ei pyörätiellä, ei ajoradalla. Nopeudenrajoittimen asentaminen jälkikäteen ei muuta laitteen luokitusta.
