Action first
Calculate the daily commute and multiply by two — that's the minimum length.
Power and speed
For city use, 300–600 W is sufficient. For hilly terrain, you'll need 800 W+ or a dual motor.
Road Traffic Rules
On public roads only models with ≤25 km/h and ≤1000 W. More powerful ones for private areas.
Weight and carrying capacity
If you travel by public transport, under 20 kg is practical.
